Tenant Criteria

• Tenant's general health is stable and predictable.
• The tenant is able to move about independently or use wheelchair or walker without assistance.
• Tenant is able to get into and out of chairs, bed, etc. with the help of only one person.
• Tenant is able to eat meals without assistance.
• Tenant is able to participate in activities of daily living such as dressing, bathing, grooming, etc.
• Tenant is able to care for most of his/her own toileting needs. May require assistance with minimal incontinence management.
• May need general oversight of medications.
• Does not abuse medications, illegal drugs or alcohol.
• Tenant is not a safety hazard or danger to self or others.
• Must be willing and able to comply with policies and procedures of Valley View Heights.
• Tenant must submit a copy of his/her health history prior to admission.
• A current physical exam (no older than 6 months) must be completed prior to admission.
• Must be 55 years of age or older.
